How this works

  1. We read your SPF and DMARC TXT records and parse the policy, not just check they exist.
  2. We look for DKIM keys on common selectors. A miss is reported as unknown, since DKIM selectors can be any name.
  3. We flag multiple SPF records, +all or ?all policies, p=none DMARC and missing reporting addresses.

Why is my email going to spam?

Why does DKIM show not detected?

We test only a few common selectors. Your provider may use another. Check the DKIM page in your email admin console.

What DMARC policy should I use?

Start with p=none and a rua report address, review reports for a few weeks, then move to quarantine and reject.

How many SPF records can I have?

Exactly one. Two or more SPF records cause a permanent error and SPF fails.
