How this works

  1. We load the homepage HTML, as a browser would.
  2. We look for Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn, TikTok, Hotjar, Clarity and cookie consent scripts.
  3. We detect the CMS, WordPress theme and visible plugins, and any JSON-LD schema types.

Frequently asked questions

Why does it say no GA4 when I use GA4?

If GA4 is fired from inside Tag Manager, or only after cookie consent, it does not appear in the page code. Use GTM Preview or Google Tag Assistant to confirm.

What is the Universal Analytics warning?

Universal Analytics (UA-) stopped processing data in 2023. Sites still showing UA tags are not collecting analytics there.

Can I check a competitor?

Yes, it reads only what the public homepage serves, same as any visitor.

Does it check inner pages?

Not yet. Only the homepage is read.
